Le Lion d'Angers: The best German bred eventing horses come from Hannover.

The FEI WBFSH Eventing World Championships took place in Le Lion d'Angers/FRA. The best Hannoveraner and thus the best German-bred horse in the six-year-old class was Groove Armada by Dancier/Swarovski (breeder: Johann Wilting, Wiesede), who finished eighth with Italian Errico Zeppegno.

In the seven-year-old class, the two best German bred horses also came from Hannover. With their dressage result, Quantas R (VA) by Qualito/Grey Top (breeder: Werner Rückgauer, Krautheim) and Samantha Lissington from New Zealand finished the demanding test and narrowly missed out on a medal in fifth place. United by Uccello/Espri (breeder: Heinrich Böhmke, Belum) and Max Warburton/GBR followed in eighth place. 15th place went to the Hannoveraner Champion of 2022, Dexter FRH by Diarado/Contendro (breeder: Dr. Hilmer Meyer-Kulenkampff, Behlmer) and Germany's Calvin Böckmann.
