The first Hannoveraner Champion was the Chacoon Blue/Quicksilber daughter Chéri (breeder: Gaby Huntemann, Wagenfeld). The pretty grey mare was ridden by Jana Witt and led the field of participants in the final of the four-year old show jumpers with a score of 8.60. She was followed by three stallions. Kataro by Karajan/Perigueux (breeder: Rita and Otto Sölzer, Fritzlar-Werkel), who was awarded top marks at the show jumping stallion test in March, came in second. The licensed stallion was steered through the Verden course by Christian Temme. Bronze was awarded twice: Spreefeuer Dree Boeken by Stakkato Gold/Vulkano (breeder: Zuchthof Dree Boeken KG, Prieros), who had found his way to his owner from Bavaria via the stallion sales 2020, was ridden by Michael Hagemann. He achieved the same score as the Casacadello/El Bundy son Castiglione (breeder: Dr. Cord Gaus, Großmoor) with Carsten Titsch in the saddle.

Eight five-year-olds had qualified for the jump-off for the yellow and white winner's sash. It was a final in which the breeders Zwingmann and Richwien GbR triumphed: Champion and Vice-Champion were born in Dingelstädt. The fastest line was found by the Casino Berlin/Conteur daughter Calida and Tobias Clar. With this, the Hannoveraner premium candidate, who was highly decorated at numerous mare shows and finished the free jumping competition in Verden in third place two years ago, set a first sportive accent in her still young career. Diamant Deluxe ZR by Diamant de Plaisir/Satisfaction, whose dam Sissi is Calida's half-sister, showed the same high quality and overview in the course and finished second with Roman Duchac. The Crumble/Chasseur son Crumble Cheesecake K jumped into bronze place. Bred by father Martin Klintworth, Ohrensen, Ole Klintworth demonstrated the strengths of the grey.

The best six-year-old was determined in an M** jumping competition. In the jump-off against the clock, Christian Glienewinkel showed all his experience. The former winner of the German Show Jumping Derby rode his Cassini II/Stakkato son Casstino H (breeder: Rainer Heins, Nienhagen) to victory in the Hannoveraner Championships. Vice Champion was Ortega JK by Orlando/Graf Top (breeder: Jürgen Kapp, Bötersen). The athletic bay was presented by the breeder's son, Christian Kapp. Moonraker by Messenger/For Edition (breeder: Siegfried Pilz, Lilienthal) and Oliver Klüsener completed the podium in third place. The chestnut gelding is a Verden discovery, he was bought by his current owner at the foal auction.

The Hannoveraner Show Jumping Championships were concluded by the seven- and eight-year-olds. As with the five and six year olds, they also competed for a ticket to the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken, which had been offered by the Hannoveraner Verband. Davita by Diacontinus/Calido (breeder: Marie Luise Holten, Freiburg), born in 2014, led the competition by almost one second. With Christopher Bartels she already proved her international class with top placings in Oliva/ESP. Silver was won by Scout H by Stolzenberg/Geysir (breeder: Heino Henning, Hechthausen) with Hergen Forkert in the saddle. The show jumper from Bremen had already ridden dam's sire Geysir to success in puissance competitions. Roman Duchac took third place, his second medal after silver in the five-year-old class, this time in the saddle of Candilou PJ, the Hannoveraner premium mare by Cristallo/Cassus (breeder: Pferdezucht Dr. Jacobs GbR, Bierbergen).
