From now on, members of the Hannoveraner Verband can access the first Genomic Services via MeinHannoveraner. The Genomic Services are a project of the associations affiliated with the IAFH (International Association of Future Horse Breeding). Behind the Genomic Services are the analysis possibilities due to the change of parentage verification to the SNP method. Currently, the basic colors (for example, pure dark), dominant white, brightening genes (cream gene) and PSSM2 can be analyzed for a fee. The analyses can be ordered directly via the horse detail page. Through research projects it is planned that further genetic information can be made available.
