Hof Waterkant Foal and Embryo Auction: Flair, atmosphere, sales success.

Top sport and foal auction at the CSI Hof Waterkant went hand in hand on the evening of August 5. The joint auction of Hannoveraner Verband and Holstein Verband of exquisite foals and gestations kept its promise. Top prices in an atmospheric setting in the evening program of the international show jumping event organized by Christoph Zimmermann and Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann. Six special foals and four gestations were contributed by Hannoveraner breeders.

The Hannoveraner top price with catalog number 3 was sold for 33,000 Euros to Canada. The filly Die hat Fun by Dia Corrado/Darco (breeder and exhibitor: Jan Crome-Sperling, Lutter) is directly related to the unforgotten Fit for Fun, Luciana Diniz's Olympic horse. The six foals generated total sales of 134,000 Euros, with an average of 22,333 Euros.

The highest price of the day was achieved by catalog number 4 by Cornet Obolensky/Cassini I (breeder and exhibitor: Hartwig Schoof, Hedwigenkoog) from the Holstein contingent at  50,000 Euros.

The four gestations fetched an average of 17,625 Euros. Here, Gestüt Eichenhain from Blender with catalog number 18 by Chacco-Blue/Aganix du Seigneur Z achieved the top price at  27,500 Euros, the expected foal was sold to an internationally highly successful show jumping stable from Lower Saxony.
