At the end of the FEI Dressage European Championships in Pilisjászfalu/HUN, Carlos FRH by Carabas/Weltmeyer (breeder: Franz Johann Reinartz, Eupen/BEL) and Germany's Helen Erbe secured the U25 title in the freestyle competition after they had already won bronze in the individual competition. Already at the beginning of the Championships, the two had become European Team Champions with the German team.
Germany won the silver medal in the young riders' competition. The quartet included ZINQ Ferati FH by Fürst Belissaro/Del Piero (breeder: Peter Mahler, Neuhaus) with Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel and Blickfang HC by Belissimo M/Brentano II (breeder: Theodor Linnenbäumer, Walchum) with Anna Middelberg. Both horses once found a new owner via a Verden auction.
