Hannover and the Rhineland win one gold, one silver and three bronze medals.

The German Championships took place in Balve. At the German Championships for U25 riders, the Carabas/Weltmeyer son Carlos FRH (breeder: Franz Johann Reinartz, Eupen/BEL) and Helen Erbe won the title in the freestyle after they had already came second in the Grand Prix.

Duke of Britain FRH by Dimaggio/Rubinstein (breeder: Sarah and Tony Pidgley, Windsor/GBR) and Frederic Wandres took third place in the Grand Prix Special. In the freestyle, Franziskus FRH by Fidertanz/Alabaster (breeder: Elisabeth Albers, Löningen) and Ingrid Klimke won the bronze medal.

In the show jumping course, a Hannoveraner was also among the medal winners: The Quaid/Balou du Rouet daughter Quick and Fly (breeder: Andrea Homburg, Gnarrenburg) and Mynou Diederichsmeier jumped to bronze.
