The filly Madeira was the pearl of the collection at the fourth edition of the Verden Foal Spring. She was auctioned online for 21,500 Euros. On average, the 29 Hannoveraner foals found a new owner for 6,181.03 Euros.
It had already become clear in the run up to the final bid up that the McLaren/Rubinero daughter (breeder and exhibitor: ZG Vietor and Hinders-Vietor, Weener) would be one of the most popular offers at the fourth Verden Foal Spring. It took three quarters of an hour during the final bid up before the virtual knockdown was awarded to Brandenburg at 21,500 Euros. Two of her siblings have been part of one of the foal collections in Verden in recent years.
The online auction was opened by the Fürst Belissaro/Spörcken son Fortunatus (breeder and exhibitor: Jens Fuseler, Geestenseth). Regular customers from France secured the dark bay from the dam line of Nadassina for 14,000 Euros.
