In Hamburg, the Don Crusador/Carismo son Don Carismo (breeder: Jürgen Hake, Wagenfeld) and rider Andrea Timpe won the German Dressage Derby. The black stallion out of the dam line of Schneeflocke had found a new owner at the Elite Foal Auction in 2010.

The U25 Derby was also decided in the final with a change of horses. Here the Ampere/Weltruhm son Nymphenburg's First Ampere (breeder: Jan Siemsglüss, Bommelsen) was the best horse of the competition. Cosima von Fircks had brought the twelve-year-old into the final and was second in the Derby classification. Third finalist was Luisa Philline Weber with her Calandro by Contendro's Bube/Stedinger (breeder: Annegret Bohlmann-Buldtmann, Ahlerstedt), who was part of the dressage lot of the November auction in 2014.

A Hannoveraner had already caused a sensation on Thursday: Starissa by Stakkato Gold/Quidam's Rubin (breeder: Albert Sprehe, Essen) won the Championships of Hamburg with Germany's Mario Stevens.

PB Dicannus by Diarado/Chacco-Blue-Sohn (breeder: Lewitz Stud, Mühlen) and Annina Züger-Hächler celebrated a great international success by winning the Grand Prix of the CSI3* Busto Arsizio/ITA.
