World Breeding Championships for Young Horses

World Champions D'Avie and Severo Jurado Lopez.

Hannover's stallions triumph in Ermelo/NED! After Destacado won silver in the five-year-old class on Saturday, D'Avie by Don Juan de Hus/Londonderry (breeder: Dorothee Heitmüller, Nienburg) and Spanish Severo Jurado Lopez became World Champions of six-year-old dressage horses. In the exciting final, the Vitalis/Dancier son Villeneuve (Rhld.) (breeder: Edeltraud Hähn, Bergneustadt) and Laura Strobel from Germany won the silver medal. Bronze went to the KWPN stallion Hermes.

Previously Fürsten-Look by Fürstenball/Londonderry (breeder: Johannes Sabel, Gersten) won the bronze medal in the World Championships of seven-year-olds. The privately owned sire from Paul Schockemöhle was masterly presented by Isabel Freese. KWPN stallion Glamourdale became World Champion, second of KWPN stallion Governor-Str.

With this spectacular result the Verden stallion sales proved to be a true master smith: The World Champions D'Avie and Revolution as well as silver medalist Destacado were discovered as two and a half year olds in Verden!
