Bundeschampionate Warendorf

Three gold medals in Warendorf/GER.

At the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, two Hanoverians and one horse from Rhineland became Bundeschampions.


Germany's best four-year-old stallion is Devonport by Dancier/Ravallo (b.: Christine Miesner, Scheeßel). The privately owned stallion from the stallion station station Sosath was ridden by Rieke Schnieder. In the class of four-year-old mares and geldings, Discover (Rhld.) by Don Frederic/Ferragamo (b.: Stephan Borgmann, Ostbevern) and rider Sina Aringer came third. Vice-Bundeschampionesse of three-year-old mares and geldings became Borgia by Benetton Dream/Westernhagen Borgia (b.: Axel Windeler, Verden-Walle) with rider Ulrike Hatzl. Very pleased about the bronze medal of three-year-old stallions were Celle's State Stud stallion Dohnanyi by De Niro/Lauries Crusador xx (b.: Ahlke Lübbers, Rhede) and rider Janina Tietze.


With an outstanding performance Gentleman by Grey Top/Fabriano (b.: Annette und Detlef Schelhas, Lage) won the title of five-year-old eventers. The licensed stallion was ridden by World Champion Sandra Auffarth.


Celebrated Bundeschampionesse of six-year-old showjumpers became Cocominca EST (Rhld.) by Cassini Boy Junior/Sandro Boy (b.: Sjaak Bindels, Siebengewald/NED) with rider Katrin Eckermann. In the championship of seven-year-olds, a Hannoveraner and a Rheinländer shone: Stakkato's Special by Stakkato/Grosso Z (b.: Eberhard Kötz, Burgwedel) and rider Thomas Holz won the silver medal. Third place went to Seawillow (Rhld.) by Sir Satchmo/Stakktato Gold (b.: Wilhelm Heider, Lindlar) and rider Ulrike Bruns.


Also the driving horses were successful: Barbie Millicent by Bequia/Harvard (b.: Monika Freymann, Hamburg) won with Marion Freymann the bronze medal in the class of six-and-seven-year-olds). In the class of four-and-five-year olds Diadem CQ by Don Darius/Waikiki (b.: Catharina Quast, Hamburg) and Klaus Quast came third.
