Verden Stallion Licensing and Stallion Sales

October 20 to 24, 2020

From October 20 to 24, the Niedersachsenhalle will once again be dedicated to young stallions. About 100 radiant representatives of the 2018 vintage are eagerly awaited. This year, the licensing and stallion sales for Hanoverians and Rhinelanders will be divided into a dressage part and a jumping part. This will make it possible for more spectators to experience a part of the licensing and stallion sales despite the corona-related restrictions.

Numerous sports careers have found their beginning at the Verden Stallion Licensing. A prime example is double World Champion D'Avie. This impressive chestnut stallion once left the Niedersachsenhalle for Denmark as a premium stallion and was celebrated in Ermelo/NED in recent years as World Champion of young dressage horses.

Not only the announcement of the licensing decisions is exciting, the stallion sales on Thursday and Saturday is exciting as well. Both auction days are introduced by a discipline-related show program. In addition, the proclamation of the "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2020" and the "Hanoverian Mare of the Year 2020" is eagerly awaited.

Live presentation!

The Hannoveraner Verband will broadcast all presentations relevant to the licensing via ClipMyHorse: www.clipmyhorse.tv

Preselection 2020

Also this year the stallion preselection for the Verden licensing will lead the selection committee through the breeding area. The colts of the vintage 2018 will be preselected at 15 sites. However, this only applies to the dressage stallions. In connection with the discipline-related separation of the licensing commission, the board of the Hannoveraner Verband decided to select the jumping stallions centrally in Verden.

The Preselection for the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing will take place from September 7-18.

Tickets

Due to the official requirements caused by the Corona pandemic, 500 people are permitted in the Niedersachsenhalle per event day. Many tickets have already been sold since the beginning of the year, partly through subscriptions and partly on free sale. All tickets lose their validity and will be refunded. In order to enable as many people as possible to attend the event, everyone can only obtain tickets for one day. People from one household can choose between two and four tickets on the hall plan.

Advance ticket sales begin on September, 23th, at 7 pm and will only be possible online via the Ticketmaster homepage, i.e. not at the association office. Tickets for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday cost 15 Euros each, for Friday and Saturday 25 Euros each. Please note that due to official restrictions, no open ticket sales can be held at the event.

In addition to the aspect of breeding, the licensing also includes the sale of stallions. Therefore we would like to use part of the available contingent to reserve tickets for customers. These tickets are not for sale. For this reason we cannot offer the total contingent of 500 tickets online.

Bidding at telephone

Although you should not miss attending the auction live, we also offer the opportunity of bidding at the telephone. Forward your completed bidding form until 12:00 noon the auction day by fax or email. Our team member will call you as soon as your favourite horse enters the auction arena.
