Life Time FRH and Charlott-Maria Schürmann became World Champion of the seven-year-olds at the FEI/WBSFH Dressage World Breeding Championship. It was a Hannoveraner double victory, Vitalos FRH and Leonie Richter became Vice World Champion for the third time in a row.
The Livaldon/Fürstenball son Life Time FRH (breeder: Johannes Hesselink, Emlichheim) became World Champion of seven-year-old dressage horses with Germany’s Charlott-Maria Schürmann. After winning the qualifier, the liver chestnut stallion was the favourite going into the final. The privately owned stallion had already been a finalist in the championships in the past two years. For the third time in a row, Vitalos FRH by Vitalis/De Niro with Leonie Richter. The dream score of 10 for trot is emblazoned on his test report. His breeder Josef Bramlage from Sögel will not forget this Sunday in a hurry, as Veuve Clicquot, a second horse from his breeding programme, won silver in the class of six-year-old dressage horses at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf at almost the same time.
In the finals of six-year-olds, the Secret/Fidermark son Segantini (breeder: Dr Christine Feichtinger, Vaduz/LIE) and Dorothee Schneider were the best German pair in fifth place after finishing second in the qualifier.
Four-year-old riding horses also competed in the horse show in Ermelo. The silver ribbon went to the Secret/Bon Coeur son So Special (breeder: Pia Sophie Wahlers, Visselhövede) with Sweden's Jessica Lynn Thomas in the saddle. Four weeks earlier, the chestnut stallion had won the Hannoveraner Riding Horse Championships. Fifth place went to the premium stallion For Royalty by For Romance/Franziskus (breeder: Bernd Schoemaker, Emlichheim), who was presented by Mette Sejbjerg Jensen from Denmark.
