World Championships Pratoni de Vivaro/ITA

The German team won the title at the World Eventing Championships in Pratoni de Vivaro/ITA. The Contendro/Heraldik xx son fischerChipmunk FRH (breeder: Dr. Hilmer Meyer-Kulenkampff, Behlmer) and Michael Jung almost became individual World Champions as well. After a record-breaking dressage and penalty-free cross-country round, the last jump was dropped and the title became fifth place. Behind the USA, the New Zealanders overtook the favoured British and won the bronze medal. Falco by Cardenio/Weinberg (breeder: Norbert Nowak, Haren) and Tim Price also celebrated a sensational third place in the individual classification behind surprise winner Yasmin Ingham with Banzai du Loir and Julia Krajewski with Amande de B'Néville.
