In the year of the 100th anniversary of the Hannoveraner Verband, the Elite Auction also became a celebration. The price leader of the 66 exquisite riding horses was Domingo, who was auctioned OnLive for 103,000 Euros. The quality of the auction lot was rewarded, an average of 35.992 Euros had to be invested for a top-class young talents.

The online bids, which had been submitted online for a week, already indicated that the Diacontinus/Grey Top son Domingo (breeder and exhibitor: Eduard Voss, Eydelstedt) would be a hot contender for the top price. With head number 62, the spectators had to wait a long time for the appearance of the powerful jumper in the Niedersachsenhalle, who had not been shown in public before. Then a total of 118 bids pushed the price up to 103,000 Euros. Regular customers from Canada did not miss this top class talent.

Donnamita (breeder: Nicole and Friedrich Sievers, Giffhorn, exhibitor: BG Sievers/Liekefett, Gifhorn) danced to the top price of the dressage horses. The pedigree of the fourth placed horse at this year's Bundeschampionat includes two World Champions of young dressage horses, Don Martillo and Dimaggio. The dark bay Hannoveraner premium candidate will move into a stable in Lower Saxony for 91,500 Euros. Another top price on Saturday afternoon was achieved by the Secret/Sir Donnerhall son Sound of Music (breeder and exhibitor: Günther Blöthe, Neustadt). After an exciting bidding duel and the applause of the audience, the chestnut with great movement left the Niedersachsenhalle for Austria for 87,000 Euros. There he will be prepared for a great career by master hands. Only 2,000 Euros less was the price for Ben Amour by Bon Benicio/San Amour (breeder: Thomas Kaufels, Apenburg-Winterfeld), who was exhibited by the State Stud Celle at Verden’s showcase. The licensed and performance tested stallion will continue his still young career in France.

About 50 percent of the collection of the 139th Elite Auction will leave Germany. The USA (five horses) and France, Great Britain and Switzerland (four horses each) were the most eager buyers. 37 auction horses found new owners in Germany. 15 future hopes "cracked" the 50,000 Euro mark.

On the eve of the Elite Auction, the auction horses and their guests in the sold-out Niedersachsenhalle brought 100 years of Verband’s  history to life. Hendrik Schäfer, Köchingen, was awarded the Hans Joachim Köhler Prize as the most successful auction exhibitor of the past years. With Franziskus by Fidertanz/Alabaster (breeder: Elisabeth Albers, Löningen), who won team bronze at the World Championships with Germany’s Ingrid Klimke, his son Final Dream (breeder: Karin Storkamp, Ibbenbüren), who won the Bundeschampionat for seven-year-old dressage horses with rider Kira Goerens-Ripphoff, and Highlight by His Highness/Rodgau (breeder: Karl-Werner and Heike Heimrich, Hünfeld), with whom Chiara Congia and Justin van Gerven vaulted to the World Champion title in Pas-de-Deux, three Hannoveraner horses have been awarded the coveted FRH title by the supportors’ club of Hannoveraner sport horses.
