World Championships of young dressage horses

Hannoveraner World Champions: Don Martillo and Lordswood Dancing Diamond!

The FEI World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo/Netherlands were a triumphant march for Hanoverian horses. Don Martillo by Don Juan de Hus/Benetton Dream (b.: Axel Windeler, Verden-Walle) and Germanys Ann-Christin Wienkamp won the title of five-year-old horses. World Champion of six year-old dressage horses became Lordswood Dancing Diamond by Dancier/Wolkenstein II (b.: Horst Ebeling, Hollnseth) and rider Ann-Kathrin Pohlmeier. Both convincingly won with more than 0.5 points ahead. Sultan des Paluds became Vice Champion in the division of seven-year-old horses. Sultan des Paluds by Soliman de Hus/De Niro (breeder: Pablo Bouillot, Nimes/FRAU) and his Dutch rider Kirsten Brouwer won the vice championship-title in the division of seven-year-old horses.

 

Ferrari OLD by Foundation/Blue Hors Hotline and rider Andreas Helgstrand/DEN won Silver in the five year-old division. Bronze went to Hesselhoej Donkey Boy by Era Dancing Hit/Milan, ridden by Denmark's Jan Möller Christensen. Six Hanoverians competed in the Final of the best 15 competitors in total. Hann.Pr.A. Casablanca by Conen/Fidertanz (breeder: Johannes Westendarp, Wallenhorst) with her Australian rider Simone Pearce earned an excellent fourth place, sixth place went to D’Avie by Don Juan de Hus/Londonderry (breeder: Dorothee Heitmüller, Nienburg), ridden by Servero Jesus Jurado Lopez/ESP. Dragon Welt by Dancier/Weltmeyer (breeder: Pernilla Svensson, Broby/SWE) and Ida-Linn Lundholm/SWE came in ninth. The Foundation/Weltmeyer-daughter Faviola (breeder: Heinrich Gießelmann, Barver) and Nadine Husenbeth finished 11th and 13th Quizmaster by Quasar de Charry/Velten Third (breeder: Klaus Küver, Wohlenbeck) with Sascha Schulz from Luxembourg.

 

In the competition of six year-olds Governor-Str v. Totilas/Jazz and rider Adelinde Cornelissen finished second, Quel Filou OLD by Quaterback/Stedinger ad Spain's Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez won the bronze medal. Outstanding sixth became Nymphenburg's First Ampere by Ampere/Weltruhm (b.: Jan Siemsglüss, Bommelsen) with Germany's Tessa Frank. Feodoro by Fürstenball/Rosario (b.: Katrin Lüder-Kratzberg, Hildesheim) and rider Simone Pearce finished seventh. They had won the qualifier before.

 

Sultan des Paluds by Soliman de Hus/De Niro (breeder: Pablo Bouillot, Nimes/FRAU) and his Dutch rider Kirsten Brouwer won the vice championship-title in the division of seven-year-old horses. The chestnut qualified for the Final as third in the qualifying test.
